We understand the frustration you may be feeling if you’ve submitted an insurance claim and the end result wasn’t what you hoped it would be. Please read the FAQ below to get a clear understanding of Insubuy’s role in the claims process. 

I’m not satisfied with the way my claim was processed. What can I do?

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the way your claim was processed. Please understand that Insubuy is an insurance broker, and we do not process claims. We sell international insurance plans from nearly every top provider, and those plans are each administered by different companies. Whether a claim gets paid or denied is at the sole discretion of the insurance administrator for the particular plan you’ve purchased. We encourage you to contact the insurance administrator for additional claims information. If you need help getting in contact with them, please let us know and we would be happy to assist.

I purchased the insurance through Insubuy. Why wouldn’t I contact Insubuy about my claim?

As an insurance broker, we have no control over the outcome of a claim. Every insurance administrator pays claims according to the terms and conditions of their policy, which are available to view at any time on our website and provided to you upon purchase. If you feel your claim has been incorrectly denied, your best course of action may be to open an appeal with the company that administered the insurance policy. If you need help contacting them, we will do everything we can to assist you.

I’ve opened an appeal with the insurance company and my claim was still denied. What can I do?

We understand that it can be frustrating if you feel your claim was incorrectly denied. However, there would be a specific reason for this happening that only the insurance administrator for that plan can explain to you. We will do everything we can in helping to provide you with information about your plan, but we unfortunately do not have control over the result of claims.
