Does Patriot America Plus covers expenses from local hospital visit due to flight restriction? Here's my situation: my return flight is cancelled due to covid-19, and I discovered some lump that I need to check at local hospital (potentially requires surgery). Is my travel insurance going to cover the cost? Also, due to covid-19, I can't find a way back to my normal health provider as there's no flight available. Plus the additional flight I booked are most likely going to be cancelled.
Patriot America Plus will cover any new medical conditions injuries, accidents or sicknesses that occur after the effective date of the policy. It will not cover pre-existing conditions.
It can only be determined after the fact when the medical providers send the treatment records including attending physician statement. They can't be determined in advance.
